Your Place in History

As you walk along the time line, what are the stories being told? How are the stories being told? Which way do you like to learn history - reading, examining an artifact. working with an interactive or a combination of all three?

The stories that are being told is about the constitution and other things involving slavery which includes sojourner truth. The stories are being told in many different ways. a few ways is listening or hearing what the person of the topic is talking about, looking at the displays, actually seeing items that was going on. I like to learn history by examining artifacts which is much fun. I think both them would be fun but i prefer examining.

On Tuesday December 4th, 1787 people weren't agreeing so much to the constitution. So James Wilson stood up and told u.s citizens how important it is and how it made a difference. I like to see picture and writing when learning. I am a visual learner.

The stories that are being told are the stories from the past and how it they came to make the constitution. There being told either in a little passage or a video in the which the people are telling the story. A combination of all three.

the stories that are being told are stories from people from the past that where affected by the constitution in a good way or a bad way. The way these stories are being told is by putting it into a movie and also by changing the constitution.i lke learing about it by looking at the artifacts, because whe i read it i didnt understand compeltly until i saw these things because believe it or not the artifacts told a different story in my books.

First off let me say that time line had to be one of the biggest time lines in America. I did get a few fact from the time line. In 1920 woman starting fighting for their right to vote but in 1981 they starting fighting for equal rights as men. I really liked the exhibit because I liked to interact with what ever I am learning. I sometimes just like to read or just looking at some artifacts. A combination of all 3 things above will definitely be fun ways and easy ways to learn about history.

As I approach the exhibits invovled in the time line, there are many stories being told and each one has something to do with the constitution. I see an exhibit on the Civil Rights Movement. Their is an aritfact the symbols the Klu Klux Klan(KKK). KKK was an White supremacy group that terrorized and embrassed African American's. THe symbol was the hat that the KKK would wear. In front of that their was a written descripeion of the Plessy vs. Fuegerson case. In this case, Homer Plessy, An African American Man who boarded an "White's Only" train cart. He was arrested and his case was brought to court where he claimed that the facilities for blacks and whites were unfair and not equal. The court's ruling in that was "separate is not equal". We also learned about this in the CRM in Ms.jackson's class. I like to learn through reading and taking in everything I read.

The stories that was being told was mostly just about the history and the constitution. The stories that was being told was about slavery and things like that in those days. You can just look at the pictures on them and thats basically like reading it. I will to learn history in a combination of 3 because thats taking in everything at once.

The stories that are being told are from the past and how the constitution and how it included slavery && etc. The stories was being told in different ways. Some where from videos. And some where from writing. Like you can look at the item and either listening about it or read about it. I rather work in a combination of all three because its much more faster && better.
