The Academy of Natural Science
We spent time on Thursday visiting the Academy of Natural Science. You were told to pick something there that you would incorporate into your future city project somehow. Please take time now to say what that theme was and how you plan to incorporate it into your future city. Be as specific as possible.

the theme i plan to incorporate in our future city project would be the jungle theme. the reason why is because there should be a mini jungle in our future city project for the animals and where people can explore. Another reason because there was similar animals to what we have now and the envoirment they was in as well. since its a "future city" we should also include exotic things as well.
THE THINGS WE SEEN IS THE TEMPLOT UNYVERSITY . We also went to franklin institute science museum. Basically the national constitution is talking about how the constitution was made and other events like the bill of rights , slavery. constitution which is the national constitution center. the franklin institute is about animals and things similar to that. these places are appropriate because it helps with the "past " of philly .
well we looking at the jungle theme for my group. We took alot of pictures of that. Then we seen like some kind of material that looks like water and we thought about using that.
The theme that I focused on was with the ice glaciers. I picked that theme because in the future there are many different ways of living. I was thinking that maybe the people there could live like under the water in the glaciers. I picked this because it would be interesting to see how it would come out.
The things that I like about the Natural Science was the room of the butterfly because the way I could use that in my Future city project because they could give oxygen because oxygen is a good thing for people and or city. But the theme I am trying to use is the Jungle theme because is more easy to take care of tree and animals that really important because we going to have more animals and the animal is another record to or city that the reason I wanted to use the theme of a jungle.
i picked cat fish because it was cool and it was interesting because the way they looked like and the way the was made and the way that it was shown in the natural science academy .

Well my group had a few things for our future city project . The Theme that we have is something like the jungle . the reason why we picked that because we have mostly animals that come from the jungle and some comes from mountains that we need for our group.our group is mostly trying really to figure out what we really going to do but thats all we have right now.
At first we thought it would be HORRIBLE to incoporate animals. But I learned so much. I think animals will educate our sims.
my group decided to go with a jungle theme for the benefits of us. Most animals might seem dangerous but a lot of them can protect us. Some can climb trees and others can protect us. We will not keep animals in a zoo we will allow them to roam around free in the jungle
What I liked the most in the Academy of Natural Science is the Butterfly. The reason why id because it's so fresh air like, and has more nature to it. And in the future city project i would like our city to be like that but it would still look high tech. The theme has a lot of flowers and it so cooling. And i think it would be a good thing to have that theme for the future city. But i didn't see so many places but it's still cool =].
What I plan to incopperate in my future city project is the statues because they were mad cool and when I seen them I really wanted to know what they were talking about. Another reason why I picked the statues was because they bring back lot of history back to our American history.
The thing I seen that I want to incorporate in my future city is i want to have all of the past animals- animals of the past. I think that would be a really good thing because there will be animals that no one would ever see and all the animals that have been extinct and as I said before population is a good thing but u don't want your population to crowd your city.
WHEN I WENT TO THE A.O.N.S I WOULD LIKE TO INCORPORATE A LOT OF THINGS LIKE OH MY GOD THEY WHERE SO AMAZING. LIKE EVERYTHING LOOKED SO REAL. IF I HAD TO PUT ANY THING IN MY FUTURE CITY I WOULD PUT THE STATUES AND MY THE BUTTERFLIES ROOM BECAUSE I WOULD LIKE TO LEARN SO MANY NEW THINGS ABOUT THOSE THINGS AND ALSO I WOULD WANT MY CITY TO LOOK BEAUTIFUL.
The theme I choose to think about and incorporate in to my Future City Project is the environment. We overlooked the possiblity of a "caging a forest" type of idea, as a group. We seen a lot of figures of animals that were not real but they were shaped and figured as if they were living. Some of these figures were in forest type environments. Me and misareilys took pictures of these forest environments. We plan on shaping and forming a cage, camoflauged and so realisitic that the animals captive will not recognize. In Africa we understand that there are alot of animlas and wildlife and in our city, we do not want any of them roaming or killing. Their will also be no domestic violence in this case either. We plan on using these pictures as some form of "represntation" and use them as a help to bulid this "camoflauged cage". We also looked at an exhibit where it looked as if the toxins and all of the air pollution's and household products are going to soon harm the environment making it harding for humans and orgasims to live. We plan on building or looking at hardazous waste facilities to stop gobal warming.
I have choosen the rivers because in the past there was more water then land. Just by learning that i would like to imcorperate it into my city. I also seen some animals and i think that they were interesting. Theses animals would be cool if they were in my city because its something new.
Their was a jungle theme that you can see your self from the outside on a video if your in the room. That had a dinosaur near you. In our Future city project I am sure in Africa. Theirs jungles like that.

I would incorporate the dinosaurs because that was about the past. All the fossils and bones from long time ago was in the museum. I think that will be the smartest thing to add especially on my topic the past.
